At Stirlings Central we want to ensure the shopping centre and the community that we operate in are resilient and able to thrive. We are aiming towards a net zero carbon emission target by 2030, which includes reducing water usage and increasing the amount of waste diverted from landfill.
From February 2022 we will be installing solar panels on the roof of the shopping centre.
These panels will generate renewable energy that will be used on site, reducing harmful carbon emissions in the atmosphere generated by site operations.
Shortly we will be installing charging bays for battery powered cars.
Our charging stations will eventually run on the renewable energy generated by our solar panels.
We are aiming to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030 through a concentrated sustainability effort at the shopping centre.
Continue updating the centre to reach 100% energy efficient LED lighting by 2023.
