WA Plastics Ban

From July 1, some plastic items will be banned in WA.

  • Plastic shopping bags
  • Disposable plastic utensils or foodware, and
  • Expanded polystyrene foodware.

This ban applies to all businesses and organisations which operate in WA:

  • Restaurants,
  • Cafes,
  • Cars,
  • Takeaway food shops,
  • Party suppliers,
  • Supermarkets,
  • Packaging suppliers
  • And more.

Many of our shops will be transitioning to comply with the new laws, so we ask that you be patient with any changes.
